Our Team Approach

We network with a variety of local professionals including our preferred sustainable home designer and general contractor Matt Kramer of Aligned Design. He specializes in new home and remodeling design and construction. www.aligneddesign.net.

About the owner

Sarah Sumner, founder and owner of Fusion Interiors, has always been passionate about healthy spaces. She has degrees in Business and Nursing and enjoys bringing her varied experiences into her green and sustainable specialty. Sarah received her LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional in March of 2009. 

Sarah is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, the Colorado Green Building Council and a founding member of the Sustainable Furniture Council. Sarah has lived in Durango, Colorado for over 30 years. She enjoys her life in many ways including being a mom to four daughters, river running, organic gardening, painting and being outdoors as much as possible.
